The ZKTeco P160 is a multi-biometric time attendance and access control terminal that adds touchless palm recognition to fingerprint, card and password verification. It stores 600 palm templates, 3,000 fingerprints, 10,000 ID cards and 100,000 attendance logs, and verifies a user in one second or less.
Palm recognition is useful where fingerprints are hard to read or where staff prefer not to touch a shared sensor. A 2.8-inch colour screen guides each punch, and data moves over TCP/IP or a USB flash drive, with Wi-Fi, PoE, 3G/4G, a battery module and ADMS cloud push available as options.
For access control, the P160 connects to a third-party electric lock, exit button, alarm and auxiliary input, and the advanced access module adds a door sensor, RS485 and Wiegand in/out. It works with BioTime software. Shelly International supplies the P160 in Bangladesh with software setup, locks and installation.
