Description
The TOA TS-820 is the central unit of TOA's infrared wireless conference system. Instead of running cables to each seat, it talks to the TS-821 chairman and TS-822 delegate units by infrared through ceiling- or wall-mounted TS-905/TS-907 transmitter/receivers, so the room layout can change freely and the system is quick to set up.
It controls up to 64 conference units, with 1 to 4 open microphones, an auto mic-off timer and three speech-priority modes. A built-in feedback suppressor (FBS) controls howling, and an installation check confirms that every IR unit and microphone is connected.
Mic, AUX, line, REC and EQ connections link it to the room PA and recorders, and it can be controlled from a PC over RS-232 or USB. It suits boardrooms, council chambers, hotels and multipurpose halls.
